hieee bloggieee.. its been what felt like a century since i wrote on you :3

im just gonna start with... BREAKING DAWN!!!!!!!! (cause that's clearly stuck in ma head) :P

I T . W A S . A W E S O M E ! ! ! ! ! !

the storyline and everything was according to the book!! almost better than how i pictured every word in my head! well there are some tweaks that werent followed exactly in the book, but they werent as many and blends in well. YOU who has not seen the movie.. MUST MUST MUST x100 WATCH!

although from what i heard from a friend who i watched with here in Aussie and went back to Malaysia and watched it again, there were a few scenes cut. apparently those scenes were "too much" for malaysians to watch. hot kissing scenes from the honeymoon scene and the baby delivering scene. lucky thing i got to see every single uncut scene b4 i go back ^^. not being a biatch with this tho. totally innocent :)

and i must say, kristen stewart's acting werent as much a dissapointment here like Twilight. she has MORE expression in breaking dawn, and LESS blinkings. she's perfect! she's even more more more omg gorgeous in here. she fits the role perfectly.

arghhh my twilight fever is back!! now i really cant stop thinking about how part 2 is gonna turn up.

okay so 1st thing on my mind is down. now for the uni part. i finished uni :) first year :)) about a month ago :)))

one year down, 4 more to go. ....... ugh... optimistic... think optimistic....
so my results for semester 2 is coming out in 3 days. hopefully all's well. semester 1 was rather satisfying for me :) thankful sem 2 is gone but im anxious to know how i did.

and then comes the question before my results are out, electives.... have to choose 2. my first im thinking about is Chinese. sooner better than later right? and another is a question mark. any suggestions? im looking forward to Modelling and Visualisation. basically creating buildings in the computer. another im looking at is Marketing. very beneficial for the future. only problem is, i suck. my only knowledge of marketing is from my Form 2 Kemahiran Hidup credit and debit balancing. and that's like 5 years ago! altho knowing abit of business now is really really good. ..... i still got 3 days to decide...... haih.

this probably isnt a post for you to lose your boredom, but.. certainly did for me. LOL okaaay so im goin now. to sleep. its 5am.

will definitely post again!!.

Bethany Hamilton

Some of you may not or some of you may know who Bethany Hamilton is. SHE is my new inspiration. I just finished seeing her movie based on true story, Soul Surfer. I'd really really recommend you to watch. It's all about her getting back on her feet after losing her arm to a shark attack while resting on her surf board on the ocean waters. Very inspirational. At the end of the movie, the credits, there are some real footage of the real Bethany Hamilton. I got all teary watching her real life footage. Till then i got so obsessed on finding out more stuff about her. I swear they wont dissapoint. So, go watch Soul Surfer! this instant!

In-Class Wonder

im in class! if u follow my facebook, then yes this class is where there were some(alot) snogging action less than a meter away from me. Im doing Multimedia Presentation as an elective. What we do is create interactive animations, design visual presentations and other media stuff. So far.. yeah its a really great subject. I'd recommend if your uni has the same elective. One of the cons of being in this computer lab evry week though, it smells like concentrated feet. OMG the smell... 2 hours is enough for you to NEED to smell a grass or anything else rather thn FEET! its like people who comes here never wear socks in their shoes. its horrible!! well seeming this Red Centre(name of building) is the ONLY 24 hours operated building overall in my uni. unfortunately, i come here evryday for my semester. It's the building for built environments studies. Hardworking people stink up the place here :) Oh well. i'd better go on with my class now. still have an hour here to kill. toodles!

HELOOO !!! my sweet adorable blog........

okay so my last post was like months ago. i just thought of blogging now. no reason. well.. i do have a reason. i have like 3 blogs to keep up for my course as part of assignment so my mind kinda neglected this old blog i have. sorry blog..

orait! back to blogging! (cant promise i'll blog often tho but i'll check in from time to time)

the following will update this blog, (almost) ALL that has happened.
WARNING: contents in this post might bore some of you.

i'll start by complaining.
WHY THE HELL being an architecture major student have so many work to do. even tutors said that course covernors are being too hard on 1st year students. IM A 1st YEAR STUDENT. they're pouring loads of workloads on us like they're trying to break us. u know like when an investigator is going all nuts on you in the interrogation room to break u and get some information out of u. the pressure!! oh lordy the pressure. every week there's a deadline to hand in. one subject alone has like a few tasks u have to do. thats only ONE freaking subject. how bout all the other 4 subjects?? and if you dont complete that week's task by the next class, you'll be put on the spot. the classes hours are omg longggggg. Tuesdays are the WORST. starting from 9freakingAM till 6PM! back to back! only 30 mins of break during that long hour. theres 2 lectures and a tutorial in between. the tutorial is already a 4 hour workshop. and the next day, wednesday tutorial is 4 hours! 4 hours of tutorial! come on... they should know not all students are geniuses. they expect us to suck in flowing knowledge passed down from tutors for FOUR hours straight? or Tuesdays, 9 hours straight??? my only FREE day is Thursday which is the shortest class of the week - 1PM to 3PM lecture.

okay.. i could go on ranting but i actually have to finish up an assignment now which is due tomoro at 9AM. im a point away from finishing my work. so i'll just make this short-ish and sweet-ish :P

so the last holidays i went back Malaysia! kinda a short notice thing. my inital plan was to surprise whoever was in taiping. plan failed though. ended up calling for a Pizza Hut delivery service from GRACE and a Macdonal delivery service from SAU WAI. got a failed-to-surprise-kriz from CHRISTINA. hehehhee. oh yea i did surprise one, WANDEE . hahaha yaay! oh well i'll get my chance next time :))
i so miss taiping already..... immediately after i got back from the Sydney airport, took 20 minutes to go back home. i reached home at 11.45 while my 1st class of the semester starts at 12PM. u can imagine the rush. couldnt even shake off the jetlag and i have 11 hours of flight written all over me.
coming back to australia always just brings my mind back to one thing, ASSIGNMENTS. joy eh? -.-

so.. i miss taiping. i miss taiping people. i miss wearing one layer of clothing(winter in sydney, more than 2 layers to keep warm), i miss lazying around.... missing alot of things here. and its only the 3rd week of semester 2 uni.

to those who wants to do architecture, prepare.........

BTW, im in uni right now. its 10.30PM. alone and freezing. i currently dont have internet at home right now so im using my uni's wifi connection. gotta finish my assignment. i finished! woohoo... now all i gotta do is wake up at 8AM , hand up assignment, go back and continue sleep. gotta hand in another assignment this tuesday... SIGH.

FINALLY!!!! !!!!

ever since i can't stop having these flashes of scenes few years ago from this particular movie, i kept searching high and low for the name. First time i saw this series was in 2002 or maybe younger. TV2 was playing it at that time every weekday at 8pm. i remember i always saw the beginning part of it only cause i had to go tuition at that time. i was so clung to the series, i played the sick card with my mom just so i could stay and watch the ending of the series. lol. soree mom :| for the record, she knew i was faking it. cause i didnt act sick the whole time i was watching. lol. i was young and no actress.

i only had images in my mind but no name. so literally i've been searching for movies for 2 years on and off so that one could lead me to this particular movie.

and i just found it!! i smiled so hard i think my jaws cracked.
SO FREAKING BLOODY HAPPY.

in the process of downloading right now. ahh!!...not only i get to watch again, but remember that part of my childhood.

my bro got his Desktop+laptop 2 in1 so he gave me his MacBook Pro. oh yeahh.. i never used such fast laptop before..
LOVING the high performance..
unlike my previous laptop i have been using for almost 3 years now. was a hand-me-down too from my eldest bro. was his 1st laptop. uh huh, its about 7 yrs old now. the speed calclated by the laptop itself was 2 out of 5. and i've been using it for all my multimedia homeworks up until now and still ongoing. of course im impressed by this MAC speed. fast as heck. if u've been using a computer that crashes alot, u'd be totally impressed with MAC too u know.

but.... i cant use it to continue my multimedia assignment :((
alot of programs are not functional in Apple.
that is my MAJOR shitty issue with Apple.
they're so stuck up that they want you to buy everything apple made for your ONE apple product in order for you to make full use of it. they dont want anything spelled WINDOWS near APPLE. argh..... sucks.
now im still stuck with my 7 year old, 2 out of 5 laptop. everytime it crashes due to low built-in performance with high performance demading multimedia programs, i turn to look at my MAC, and go sighhhhhhhhhhhhh

oh well. i just came back from the city. just playing around with the MAC built-in camera :D

Pirates!

Watched Pirates 4 today! w/ few friends.

The language is a bit hard to catch though. Penelope Cruz's accent plus few others' pirate/english accent. So i gotta reprocess what they said in my head.
Other than that. overall: 9/10
no perfect one-oh cause .... well.. just cause..
i'd still recommend you to watch it :))

I miss my mom. I miss my dad. It's fucking hard staying away for one year and only seeing them for 3 months a year. I've been living with them everyday my whole life. Now I see them 90 days in 365 days. Maybe I'm just feeling homesick right now. Maybe I'll be okay. Maybe I'm just being optimistic with maybe's. Now what am i talking. Im thinking like i'm never going to see them. I'm lucky and grateful to talk to them twice a week over the phone. Ergh. I'm just homesick. .. Aniwae, I miss my mom and dad.

Definitely rated PG. haha. but love the storyline. and Natalie Portman is gorgeousss... plus Ashton Kutcher's body? WOW???!

MUST WATCH! It's exhilarating. It's very... i dont know how to put it. AWESOME?? haha. MUST WATCH.

Romantic action love story about Matt Damon fighting Fate who wants to break these two apart because the weren't suppose to meet or know each other.

The movie is nothing like Despicable Me. But it wasn't exactly better either. Tacky.. Predictable. More so like a children's movie then an adults. For funnyness i'd give a 8/10. but for overall movie is a 6/10 for me.

RED RIDING HOOD

Director is Catherine Hardwicke so of course there were pretty similar scenes to Twilight like the intro showing the trees from top view and the way the movie was made. I can't help it but compare to Twilight in certain scenes. Triangle love. The forbidden love. All centering around a girl.
There were some great scenes too. Suspenses.
I'd give the movie a 7/10 .

RANGO

It was a spontaneous decision, my friend and I. We just went for it without thinking. Haha. The storyline was predictable. The characters were'nt much of a sight to see for more than an hour. But the graphics was pretty great.
So...... i'd give it a 6 out of a 10.

I AM NUMBER FOUR

The graphics was undoubtedly amazing. But the storyline was a wee bit tacky and the ending was even more dangling in the air. abit dissapointed with the ending. But pluses for Dianna Agron playing the girlfriend. she's hot :))

SEASON OF THE WITCH

It's purely about the plague and how it was caused by a black witch . The witch was hanged a century or less years ago, she came back to punish the town who hanged her with the plague. Then the king of that city or country, called in Nicholas Cage to bring back a holy book to vanquish the witch.
The storyline is a bit tacky.. but the witch was pretty gruesome. I was watching alone, at night! scared the hell out of me . So if you're watching at night, prepare :P

RIO 3D

At first I was like 'ngehhh', then my friend said Watch! Watch! so i was like 'ok'.
Turns out, it was freaking hilarious! i was laughing all the way. You wont regret it i swear

The GREEN HORNET 3D

The most obvious coolness for me, the cars. lol. The action scenes are really WOW!! with all the funny lines and scenes..made the movie even better. AND the 3D?? even even even better!

FAST FIVE

Million thumbs up , if that's possible. The graphics, the storyline, the suspense! OMG. and of course... the CARS!! Everything about this movie is awesome.
Apparently the director Justin Lin has directed Tokyo Drift and Fast & Furious(2009). So he's all about the graphics and awesomeness.

I noticed Im not behaving like ME sometimes. Like I'll just go all out and immediately or some time after that, realise 'what did i just do?' or 'why did i say that??'. Putting myself into a third person view, I'd see myself looking like the bad guy. But nobody would know what i was thinking and i'd be thinking 'wht the fuck, sher!??'. Can't imagine what i would become or what people would think of me if i keep up this so called involuntary behaviour towards others. Seriously i can say this beforehand, i didnt mean it.

You guys must be thinking i did something horrible here. haha. i didnt. Its just a wonder. Just a 'sometimes' thing. small things. nothing big. nothing that would make me like the 'snow queen' in Snow White.

So im now in the midst of Experiment Three..... still have 4 more week before the final submission. which is bad... because considering in that particular fourth week, i have 4 different assignments due :(

Here's the final submission of last year's highest distinction of Studio from a guy called Matt O'Brien. Which is pretty much what i'll be working on in this 4 weeks; build a fantastic bridge, a cool elevator and a peaceful meeting point for my "clients" Oprah, Gaga and Jonathan Ive.

Just got da results and i got just a Credit for my building. We had to create a building in Google Sketchup then transfer it to a game. So if i dont get an a job in an architecture firm after i graduate, I could be the one designing the abandoned buildings or any kind of building space you see in games :) Posibility onnnly.

The third and final submission for this Studio subject is about my "clients" Oprah Winfrey, Lady Gaga and Jonathan Ive(from Apple). Pretty powerful combinations eh? sigh. that means lots of work.

It's just that my cousin will b getting married soon and i had some spare time to think about weddings. So i just googled my preferences for my ...dream wedding? Dont mind me, im just thinking too far ahead.

FIRSTLY, of course you'll have to wear one you love.. and i love this flowy simple chiffon beaded wedding dress :))

I love this kind of messy looking hairstyle with small flowers or white beads placed randomly. I'd imagine there will be a heck load of hairspray and pins involved. oh but wadaheck. i love that style.

Nature inspired jewelery.
The ring doesn't have to be extravagant or full of diamonds. I prefer sentimental value over pricing.Elegant theme.

Simple invitation cards.
Last but not least, of course my future bridesmaids will have their freedom in choosing their preferred dressing designs. Unfortunately, the color choice would be my call for sure.

Ex-Sportster

Thinking back of all the sports i've played since i was 6 to 17 yrs old.. and how i totally abandoned all of them after coming to Australia. It's not like i chose to abandon, i dont have partners to play with here and the weather makes me all lazy to sweat. But of course i do sweat, once in a while. Im still wanting to get a gym card. hehe

I'll start with my youngest competition: Kindergarten. I won a medal for something. A GOLD MEDAL. i cant remember which sport i joined to win it! mom can't remember too. although i really think it was for running :[ i guess there's no way to find out. unless there's a time machine like Doraemon's.

Ballet 6 years w/ all the mini concerts in the middle. I started at 6 yrs old too. Ironic. I guess the biggest concert was for the Raja Muda. Everyone wore suits and all. I can't remember all clearly tho, but it was all really fun. Partnering with Tee Jian all those years :)) And the 6 of us moving up from Grade 1 till Grade 5, for me.. Should've stayed on if you ask me :(

Joined the running team in school when i was 10. As i remember, i auditioned for 100m and i got in to run during sports day. Cant remember i won or not. I just remember i got 1st place in the audition and Puan Ong asking me if i wanted to run during sports day. Haha.

And then there's Tennis afterwards. Started holding a racket at 11 yrs old. Stopped. Then continued on from 13 to 17 yrs old. My first failed tournament at 15. scored 8-2. 2nd tournament at 16. won 2 games :)) still not enough to qualify for Perak level. but i got lucky. 2 convent seniors dropped out due to exams and and i and wei ling were next in line. so we went ipoh for the tournament! :) I won 2 games babeh! 2nd game lost to a 2nd seeder with an 8-3. I won 3 man. that ought to count for something from a no seeder to a 2nd seeder right? at least i didnt totally lost. Then there's my third and final tournament at 17. This time, i made it on my own all the way to Perak level! without anyone dropping out :D woohooo! won 2 games. 3rd game i lost to ..oh gosh i cant remember. oh well i lost didnt i :P overall, great great experience. new friends along the way too.

At 15, i played netball in a friendly match with ... a school. Forgot which school. damn.. It was Form 3 when there was a match organised by and held in convent with another school.... aniwae. Played netball for a while. Really awesome exprience while it lasted.

Then there's Handball. At 16, I simply went to audition for the team, didnt expect i would get picked :)) Only 2 16 year olds were on the team, me and Farahidah. Others were Form 5 seniors. So we were coached and trained for months and then we entered MSSD which held in 1 mrsm school. Forgot which school again.. We got 3 games to compete and we won 1 out of 3. Lost my 1st MSSD handball competition. but hey..its not a total loss right. Later, joined the handball team again at 17. This time i didnt audition cause im automatically counted as part of Convent's team, according to Farahidah :) My position in the team was upgraded to striker~ sounds cool doesn it? haha. Also, this time me and Farahidah were the only seniors in the team. WE had to audition the other 12 junior teammates for the upcoming competition. Competition held in another mrsm school. We had to play 3 games, win 2 out of 3 to proceed to next level.. convent won..err.. i better nt get into tht. But we did won a few shots, if that matters. Exhausted and VERY sunburned by the end of the day. Sunburn was clearer the next day :( i wont lie. its a painful game. Teenage girls throwing a very hard ball at you? no heaven. And as i recall, it was drizzling during 1 of the game, we still had to play in the mud cause apparently it wasnt a heavy rain, so they didnt cancel the competition. I do miss the game :]

Speaking of sports in school, i won 3rd place in FarJump/ Lompat Jauh. I didnt know it was for a real competition at 1st. I thought its like everyone have to do it. Im just happy i got 3rd place. Then one day after some rehearsal. sports day rehearsal? All students gathered around the center of the field for something. They were giving out prizes. Then they mentioned my name. I was like, huh? for wht?? Then i went :O ohhhh! and then went up to claim my medal. LOL. complete lost in mind.

Hmm... does cheerleading count? If it does then i've joined it since Pn Che Su allowed cheeleading in 2007. KUDU won the 1st year! woot! then 2nd place in 2008. then 3rd place in 2009. i dont know wht's the score in 2010 :S i gotta say, 2009 cheerleading was the best. because of the pesta ria. and the money won? fuh. altho it wasnt so much after the splitting among cheermates. But everything was stressful and totally worth it.

Badminton. Played almost everyday with my brothers when i was 10. Then once in a while with neighbours until 13. Then continued as outside of school activity when i was 16, with friends. On and off mostly. But more so when i was 17, also on and off. Not all the time, but i know how to at least right? haha. didnt involve any competitions in this sport.

Ping Pong? I had a ping pong table since i was 7. But i only started playing with brothers at 8 or 9 i think?right until the table couldnt be used anymore when i was 13. Then the table got drizzled on with rainwater, the whole surface bubbled up and we just had to get rid of it. Then once in a while played it in school during curriculum time on saturdays. Just joined in and played for fun. well that doesnt really count much here.

Snooker? nope no competitions involved here either. added for fun :P played my 1st snooker/pool, basically same category of sport, in a pub in Sydney. Won my 1st game with my brother's friend. wohoo! i think he lost on purpose tho. oh well. its nt over between us. i'll get him back again. Then there's my cousin's house. He has a pool table in his house! in the basement. damn cool right. But they sold the house months ago. They're pool table now is a working table in the garage for the dad. haha. went to their house quite often. would go down and practice my shooting for fun.

Well i cant think of anymore sports now. If i missed out any, i'll remember to add it in :) Until we meet again :] Au Revoir! Stay Sporty! <--cheesy -.-

My bro's gf, Minnie went few times to this ceramics painting studio. All you do there is choose a basic ceramic shape u like and start painting anything you want on it. Sky is limit. Staff there will teach you different techniques like sponge dubbing/sticking/ and few others i forgot. The whole thing is really beneficial and a lil therapeutic u might call it. It's distressing. Well, that's if you have at least a slight interest in art.

She was suggesting me to go for weeks already. tday i decided to give it a shot.
We hung out at the studio from 4pm to almost 9pm.
Imagine how freaking HUNGRY we all were by the time we finished. lol
Friend booked the studio for 12 of us.
Cant seem to remember all of their names, but the ones i do: Minne, Travis, Anwi, Lipei, Cindy, Lynn, Elaine.
At least i know more than half of the groups names :P

The colors r freaking dull n bland, now. Seems that later the studio people will put an overcoat that'll make the colors more strking and rich.
I chose the asian japanese plate. cause its my first time n instead of painting on a simple flat surface, i went for bendy, flat and usable

Pretty not bad for my first time eh? :))

My trick for neat mosaic style = lots.. and lots.. of musking tape, my friend. lots of it!

The ceramics are kept in the studio right after u finished. wait for a few days then you can pick them up. cause they have to put some shiny coating over it and something that makes the colors pop and stay.

So.. here is the almost done product. Took me almost 5 hours to paint this baby up.
FYI, i absolutely didnt know what i was doing in the 1st hour. See the background on my plate? freaking simple right? i was doing that for a full hour :) I was clueless so i took my time stroking the brush.
Then i saw the mucking tape in a basket, and poof! ideas falling out along the way.

I'll post the final product when i get my product back. And the others' as well.

Got a haircut:) did em myself.
Cant seem to get my bloody fringe to stay like bangs. always ending up as side partings.

2nd Week Down

So 2nd week's gone. I swear my workload so far is beginning to look like a skyscraper. Okay mayb im exaggerating. but for someone like me, the lazy kind who nvr does hwork in school before, university hwork DOES look like an Eiffel Tower. double sigh*

Dont really have time for anything. How do i wind down? or..u could say get distracted.. is by Nightclub City! :D i update my club(s), fill my bar statuses, keep my customers happy, get them drunk and high, and most importantly, keep my money running. I have bout 9millilon about 20 mins ago, i just spent 5million purchasing and decorating another newly bought club in Nashville :)) its nt my fault, the darn prices are so freaking high! reeediculous. bt nt ridiculous enough to stop me frm buying :|

okay so the asian holocaust caused some speculations that japan deserved those natural disasters. but here's my view; the asian holocaust happened 70-80 yrs ago. those who did those stupid hideous fucked up shithole idiotic brainless heartless pigfull lowest grade actions during then, they're fucking old and cant even walk straight without a cane or a wheelchair. God punishes them in one way or another. Mayb in their afterlife for some of them. I bet those holocaust soldiers cant even rape anyone now without breaking a hip or getting muscle cramps. My Third Day.......

dont know how long am i gonna keep up counting the days in my blog.

So third day.. gah. its 11.57pm now and im really beat. got an early class tomoro and i just came back from the city. been out since 11AM today soooo im just gonna make this short sweet and write what i remember for tday.

During O-week i met this really cute asian guy during lecture. i didnt meet him again until tday.

B4 going into my science class, there he was suddenly showed up at the corridor. All of us are waiting for the previous class to finish and get out so we could go in. He's in the same class as me! yaay! Here he was again after 2 weeks. Meeting him again, i reconsidered his cuteness. lol. During o-week i was blinded by all the cute guys i guess. Now im starting to get immune.
But meeting him again wasn't actually pleasant. He's kinda uptight. well, more like stuck up. as in sombong. I got to knw he's actually Australian and his name is Patrick. Pat, for short, as he likes it.
So yeahh.. and I met this guy from Paris. i know right! first time meeting a guy from Paris! in the flesh! one of the many splendours of UNSW is getting to meet ppl, in the flesh! haha.

What else cn i remember...hmm. met new friends tday..or more like the whole class(ice breaking session).. and then ..

oh! i made a fool of myself. errr..nt really.. well... . ok. u b the judge.

this morning i gt up at 9am. getting ready for the 11AM lecture. b4 i knew it, it was 10.40 already and i need to walk 15 mins to get to the lecture hall! throughout the week in my experience, u hav to reach 30 mins earlier to get a gud seat. or to get any seat for tht matter. cause there's alot of students n nt enuff chairs. so thank goodness i always come 40 mins early to classes. BUT today?! i guess i didnt realise the time. of all days right!? ok getting back, it was already 10.40 n i knew i was late! so i jog/walked all the way up to campus passed the never ending stairs and stairs.. n ppooof! i was at the corridor outside the door of the theatre. alot of ppl were standing outside, i thought they were waiting for another class. it was 10.55AM. So i opened the door n went in. b4 i let go of the door knob, i quickly took a glance of the tcher and ppl inside there. no one i knew. the lecturer wasn't even the right one. Confused..and a lil embarassed, i quickly rushed out. I asked the australian boys outside at the corridor of the lecture hall. They said previous class havent finished yet. I ducked my head, said 'ohhh' n went away. They were laughing. haha. i went away to meet my friends at the other side of the corridor who also were giggling. hmpf. the end.

the whole one paragraph might be too long here.. hey, its past midnight and im rambling. natural.

My Second.. day...

So today wasn't actually all thaaaat bad. Nothing wrong with anything.. except.. 4 hours of utter dullness xP
by 3pm, i was thinking it's already been 3 hours passed AT LEAST, until i looked at the clock and its only been 40 minutes since class begun -_____-
20 ppl in my studio. Fun at first, everyone talking and getting to know everyone.
Then the workload comes and everyone have to finish up 18 pages of images by the end of class. 1 image a page. and we HAVE TO fill that page up. no leaving too much positive space. The page isn't that big actually. Imagine a palm size 555 book and open it up. The page im referring to is the whole open book perimeter.
So yeahh it sounds like a breeze finishing up 18 images in 4 hours. but average everyone only finished up 6 to 12 images by the end of the class. The concept all the images must have is bloody confusing. everytime we did an image, Mr Jing will b telling us to change it or do another one.
Im at 9 now. Girls beside are around the same as me too. Then i got to know that practically the whole class is around there too. lol. So Mr Jing just asked us to finish them at home.
I was, extremely excited when i bumped into Shaun in the corridor b4 heading out from building after class. Pretty much the most exciting time of the day. Bumping into a familiar face?? how fun is that?? u cn imagine how dull my class went :P haha. everyone is so into their works.

Our next homework after this drawings, is to choose an image we drew, just one, and make a 3D unique building of it with a sketch program. and publish in the student blog. That 3D image, is worth 5 marks in the final exam. No shit right?? its the second day of uni and they're talking about serious marks for the finals ALREADY.

okay so lecture wasn't THAT bad. I didn't had time to spot cuties in my course cause of the never ending tasks Dr Fung has been giving us. grrrr...

then comes to studio/tutorial class later. WTF we did in tracing exercise?? only after an hour of doing the exercise i got to understand. Mr Freeman was explaining, i could hear every word but couldn't interpret what he was getting us to do. SO yeahh.. wasn't all that bad i just gotta keep up. I got to understand more about architecture today, and i wish i hadn't done it. I bet something like digital media would've ease my tension i have now :\
Aniwae, made friends with classmates Natalie and Philip. Natalie frm Aussie and Philip from Sweden. Both helped me alot.

And yeah that's bout it. Dunno what else to write. (stomach growling)

My O-week was last monday and today's Friday. So forgive me for butt-laying and not getting on to blogging.

Monday
Architecture Studies Orientation Program

2 hours of long talks about what why how to survive in Architecture for the next few years and what to expect. The description wrote 2 hours but in actual fact, it was 3 LONG hours. what felt to me was like 4 -__-

My friend bside me dozed off. Her head fell to my shoulders.As soon as she realised her head fell she got up. lol. we were sitting in the middle of the auditorium, not so front. So i dunno if anyone saw that.

Aniwae, ....

what made me stayed awake though, was all the cuties! Didnt expect my course to have so many guys. LOCALS to top it all off.
From my view, there were 70% males and 30% females. Of course, surely there were some who dcided not to attend orientation.

ohkaay. orientation was suppose to be welcoming students. Just welcoming ONNNLY. but nooooooo. they had to give out assignments already! sketch and print out A3 size building plans! finish a blog required for our own projects displayed. finish a quiz-a strictly must-if not then, quote: "dont bother coming bck semester 2". purchase equipments. speaking of purchasing! whats up with the books and materials?? they're all so freaking expensive! i HAVE to buy a minimum 500GB USB. i bought 4 books and already cost me $230. i gotta hunt for 2 more books.

have to get everything done b4 the 1st class on 1st march :(

can imagine the nxt 5 years gonna b like. HELL! Cant promise by the end of the course i'll still b sane or not.

hopefully i chose the right course. hehe. fingers crossed!

p/s: sorry for all this ranting. i need to let some out to stay sane.

Last year, 2010, me and my brother, Travis, were fortunate enough to get featured in two magazines! nope, dont think too far ahead like Vogue or Cleo or Famous xP
It's just my uni's University of New South Wales magazines :)

There were photoshoots, poses, camera directions, location settings, wardrobe!. lol. almost like the real deal here. the photographer was famous as mentioned by the lecturer who invited me and my bro for the photoshoot. I was told he photographed the previous prime minister and few other celebrities, which i never heard of :S

The featurette is mainly about me being the 6th among my siblings to enter UNSW foundations.

My good friend also got featured cause he was the Vietnamese representative for UNSW. He got the FRONT PAGE. well, with other countries' reps too of course. but still, front page is..awesome? not that i want the front cover, just to be clear.

22nd january(thanks TF, lol)~
received an anonymous phone call on my australian number.
caller called like 2-3 times. the reception was pretty bad(was driving tht time with TF bside me). couldn't hear anything other thn 'hellos'. so 3rd times a charm. caller called again.
i picked up and asked who are you. he askd the same.
im thinking he doesnt know im nt in australia so i pitied him before he found out about his bill. thn i thought i better get on with it.
so i said im sher rin. he said.. something..(bad reception).
saving time, or more like his bill, i said wrong number. he said sorry and i said bye. end on conversation.
lasted 0.59 secs.
my aussie bill came today. i had to pay $4 for tht bloody call! aussie dollars! thts RM12! for 1 bloody minute?! ...
my reaction was straight (=O) then (=.=) oh well. lesson learnt.

and speaking of lesson learnt.
using our australian numbers, my friend from indonesia messaged me the nxt day(23rd). i asked, free meh message like tht?
cause we're using the same phone number companies,called Three. Three and Three are free.
she said dunno. so i left it thinking oh-wadaheck and continued messaging.
bill today, come out to be $0.80 per message! =RM2.40 per message! and there were 12 messages!
so u do the math.

lessons learnt : take out the bloody australian number before coming bck to malaysia.

Post-Foundation

Oh yes.
My last post before i posted about my Hello-blog-again post, was about my finals. So now i should tell you how it was. It was... enough! to get me through. haha.
Got 3Aces and 2 Bees, average grade of 8.5 over 10.
The Architecture average grade requirement is 8.0, so im pleased my efforts got me through in the end.
waiting for the results was enough to get my heart pumping like i just hiked mount Everest. So tensed!! wondering if i got lower than 8.0 all the time.
you see, if i didnt meet the requirement, then i'll have to start a year of foundation all over again, or apply for a new degree course. the other courses are.....no no's for me.
So i gt through, waited for my offer letter, waited for the outcome of my application process and i waited no more. Then i chose my classes and voila!
Im now a certified undergraduate Bachelor of Architecture.

Life's Next Step

So im starting my Architecture degree this March.

SO EXCITED.

University~ ---Oh the bitter sound of having to study again(after 3 months of complete and utter laziness).. and more serious this time. cause its...... university~
A lot of people's stories regarding uni experiences involve getting sidetracked, disturbances, alcohol, love, and in the end, failing and repeating.
I cant afford to fail cause.. well.... i dont want to! who does?
Being the last among my siblings, my parents do expect alot from me you see. "dont be like your brothers!". For now i have the strong feeling of 'i wont'. but who knows. each of my brothers felt that way when they first started University~

Anyway, finger's crossed! Hope for the best for the next 3 years!

I just found out I have to get familiar with 6 softwares and literally be best friends with during my entire course. Photoshop. Illustrator, AutoCAD, 3Ds Max and InDesign. Plus google sketch for extra. That InDesign cs5 software just got released last year April 2010. Pretty new and very very cool(design view).
Alotta new things!

And here's my timetable for Sem 1. Good:classes start 11am the EARLIEST. Bad:Wednesday is horrid. I chose the time table for that day, yes. but they only gave us class-choices. not time-choices. So i pretty mych have to wake up early to eat a heavy brunch b4 i got to class. 6 hours no break... :( i can hear my stomach growling already!

Sigh.. hope i'll do well in the Australian Studies this Thursday though. Have to do 5 essays in 2 hours. An essay has to be at least 1 A4 page full. The sound of it just adds pimple stress on my face :( not that i have a lot now :D and im proud of that. i think my hormones are taking a break now. ITS ABOUT TIME DAMMIT!

Design Studio

So today had the last design studio for the semester b4 finals nxt week.
Everyone was anxious to know what results they got for the last project(previous post).

Carmel and Carel(studio teachers) will comment on each and everyone's light project openly to everyone before handing out the result sheet they graded for our light thingy's a week b4. Bad or good, everyone would be able to hear it.
I've been getting ,well, average for all of my other three previous projects. But for this last project, shock of my life.

When it came to my turn to be commented, Carmel's first word as she looked at my light was 'Amazing'. She only talked about my light for 30 seconds b4 going on to the next person's light cause of the time. So after the whole comments and everything, everyone was handed their grades. I can't help but wonder, we have only 1 life right? so how do we know if we're doing the right thing? i know what you're thinking. We can't know for sure. But do you ever question yourselves this when you assess all that's happened in you life so far? I'm only 18 right, but when i look at other girls much older than me, regretting what they did in the past. They were once 18 too, just like me. What makes you think you won't end up just like them? They thought they were doing the right thing too when they were 18. So how are we going to make full satisfactory use of our one life which we can't take back each second we not notice.

y i decided to go to melb.... I woke up one day thinking i wanna travel somewhere just for the heck. and gradually that plan changed into visiting my dearies in Melb who i havent seen in a very long time. Had tonnes and tonnes of fun. enjoyed everything. went to Royal Melbourne Show too(no pics here). it was pretty similar to where i went here in Syd. you can refer to my previous post to take a look. "2010 Royal Easter Show" 10April2010.
So yeah.. TF was really kind to take me around. Ju went with us couple of days but other days she had to study for exams(i came at a lil bad timing, hehe). but everything worked out in the end. covered almost all the city area.

before the bloody zombies, we had some fun.

During the suspense-shocking-zombie parts in the movie, Me Ivonne Charissa and Christina were jumping on our chairs hiding our faces. in the meanwhile... the guys at the back of us were laughing. dont knw if they were laughing at us 4 little innocent girls or at the movie. honestly i dont c anything funny in there or anywhere in front of us. mannnn.. dont know what's up their butts.

After the movie, we calmed ourselves on the way to a fancy dinner.

we got sidetracked on the way to the restaurant :D

thts when rows and rows of any asian/western food stalls.
the longest line, in my opinion, was a Malaysian stall. people were queuing lines! crazy.. i didnt buy there..cause i'd hav to wait forever! besides, im goin back in 2 months for some real malaysian food aniwae. So i ate mini pancakes instead.. they were DELICIOUS.

This evening!! i witnessed.... an accident!! LIVE!!!
involving a pedestrian and a car
omgggg. seeing it all happen right in front of my eyes not far away in just a long second(seemed lik time stopped)

It's a four sides junction. i was waiting for the pedestrian light to turn green from across the road. opposite me across the opposite junction, the pedestrian light was green and so this girl about 20s was walking. Suddenly this red car was going lik 40km/h turning in from another street. The car got too close to the curb and hit the girl!!! the girl hit the front right side of the car, hitting the windshield and then ROLLED down the side to the ground. Seriously heard a loud bang. not the kind of bang like car with wall.. but lik car with something much more fragile.. (makes sense?)errr

at that moment, i was like :O
i stood there watching the girl, not moving on the ground .. omgg... chills...

thankfully she moved few secs later...
the driver who hit her parked her car at the side slumberly. got out running to the girl. and so was the guy sitting on the passenger seat of the car.

then the pedestrian light i was waiting for turned green so i walked forward toward the accident place.

omggg... blood... on her head.. on her arms.. but not extremely gory ...
everyone from stores and cars around was coming out to see wht happened. getting crowded.. so i backed away to go back home(from the grocery store).
my place is a block away. walked quickly home TRYING to clear my mind.
my place was on the top floor so i eagerly took the binoculars and continued brown nosing.
police came.. ambulance came.. put her on gurney and drove away..

Recently I took on a new fascination of this guy from the series Man Vs Wild. My bro downloaded all 3 seasons of his series and played it continuously whenever he felt lik watching tv(which is frequent).
So i get to watch Bear Grylls eat anything that has legs.. or glides............. whatever.. they're gross anyway.
The series is about he, Bear Grylls, being choppered into the middle of a thick jungle, middle of the Sahara dessert, in the center of NorthPole, or any place unimaginable you name it, he's been there. Its mainly about how to survive in those isolated places and finding a way to a safe zone. By surviving i mean eating anything from thick fat juicy caterpillars to raw snakes picked up fresh from the ground.

so okay.. semester 1 results out today! i'd be lying if i said im not satisfied with my results. Although i didn't 100% commit on my studies but i did study...well..most of my time :3
im taking 5 subjects.
out of 10, i scored a GPA(average total grade) of 8.4 =)

got 3 major(ma fan) presentations and 2 major Design projects coming up. English, Aust study and Design. All of which r 20% of my final results..

The title above is the name of a pub / club i went to Friday night with my brothers, Minnie and Krystle. Before we went out Krystle and Minnie dressed me up like a doll. Minnie dressed me and Krystle did my make-up. They did all this cause they saw my wardrobe and begged me to go shopping with them the next time they go out. haha. all i have is T-shirts and pants.

It was the most fun night ever. Dancing with the big boys and girls, i'd say. Alcohols~ hehe. of course, i didn't go overboard with the booze. Went at around 8.30PM and headed home about 2AM. My brothers went back at 5am. Literally danced for like 3 hours. It was so very unlike me to dance in front of my brother's friends. But hey, everyone was dancing, drunk and i think so was i. Thinking back, i wouldve never danced the way i did consciously. About 5 glasses of drinks i think i had. i know i know.. you're thinking, omg??. honestly the drinks i had were half a shot. it wasnt like i had 5 shots in a drink.. it's just half a shot each. And i swear that's the only night im goin dancing with the big guys. My brother's friend, Joey..hit on me. Maybe he was drunk, i dont know. But i didnt see him drinking since i arrived. It was clear when i told him i am a student and he told me earlier he was my bro's colleague's fren who's working in a bank. then he started talking bout restaurants in the city and places and then he said, "So u want to go out with me some time?". i was like, no..im studying u know.. ignorant or drunk as he was he replied, it's alright i can take u out whenever you're free.. i answered sorry.. thank god my cousin behind me swooped in and dragged me away. oh and do u know that he's like 30?? or mayb 27 or 28 i dont knoww, somehwere around there perhaps. i really didnt want to make that little incident destroy my night.. it doesnt seen lik a big thing to you, its just me not used to getting hit straight forwardly by men 10 years older than me in a pub where people get all high and stuff. Ok enough of that. Incident aside, i had a great night. I get to see how the big guys get drunk. The music was really loud. Some were dancing. Some were kissing. Some were just talking laughing and drinking. And everyone had to stand up cause there were no chairs around. I think its a way to get people to mingle and not just sit around and wait around for something to happen. There was old music, modern music.. and they were all uncensored. so one of my bro's fren who was dancing with me, krystle, lipei, pim and minie, was mimicking the words along. actually so was most of the people there. So that's something new to me too.

...this is too long...
i'll just skip to the end. Lyndon and Krystle are my cousins. Lyndon was suppose to drive me Krystle and Minnie home but he was too drunk so Krystle dropped me and Minnie home instead(me and minnie live in the same place). We had to pull over twice cause Lyndon couldnt hold it in anymore. He had to vomit. he had too much to drink... haha. apparently Minnie told me this situation is normal. it happened alot b4. i always knew Lyndon is a party animal and he always end up really drunk after bt i didnt think of the hangover part. So me and minnie were home and were so extremely relieved that we got to remove our painful heals and end the night with a nice long sleep.
Next morning.. i mean this morning.. she got a hangover and threw up. I still blame it on the drink she had called Long Island(with 5 shots and other stuff in it) cause me and her had the same amount of drinks and i was fine except with just a little headache and she ended up getting a bad hangover.

if u think im bad, you should see the boys in my class. they had to do the model and pay attention to the world cup games as well as homeworks and stuff... omg. all they do in class were acting like zombies. kudos to them for staying awake every class(eventhough their eyes are all half open and god knows if they're even awake with their eyes open).. well except for this one korean guy who ONLY looks awake when its time to head home. lol.

Now friends, jj.crags, aside from studying and homework, this model was mainly why i didnt spend so much time online.. did many other rough models but in the end this is my final model. Grades will be handed out next week. so...yeah. we'll see how it goes.
Argh. cant believe all the stress i'm in right now.
Yes, by watching eclipse, it'll save me from growing MORE white hairs than i already have :(
